The obvious destruction of all you hoped to be.
The pieces are broken now – unfixable.
But still you continue to tear it down.

The night calls. It begs your attention.
Give up now. Sense your damnation.

So burn away the pages of your past.
Forget the ones who made you who you are.
Watch as the ashes rise to you.
Charred black like the heart that hate now consumes.
